What great news that Auckland will shift to Level 3 this Tuesday evening. While not a lot really changes under Alert Level 3, it will be nice to have the odd takeaway and click and collect shopping!
As the Prime Minister stated, at Level 3, schools are essentially closed for the majority of students. So most of our students will continue learning from home, with their teachers continuing to facilitate their learning via Screenmeadows from their own homes.
The exception is for the children of parents who have to return to work in Alert Level 3 and who are unable to organise an alternative childcare solution. Bubble School is available for those parents and students. Bubble School will start at 9.00a.m. on Wednesday 22 September.
I would remind parents to email me directly if they wish their child to attend bubble school. Bubble students will continue to learn via Screenmeadows, supervised by our awesome teacher aides.
It is my fervent hope that we will be back at Level 2 at the start of Term 4! Fingers crossed!
Stay safe, and stay home everyone!
