Uniform

The school encourages students to have a pride in their appearance. The correct school uniform should be worn at ALL times when students are travelling to and from school as well as during the school day.

The Uniform:

Boys: Navy drill shorts             

Navy socks/red stripes  

Girls: Tartan skirt or Culottes           

White socks (ankle length only - not sports socks)           

Stockings (black or navy blue) may be worn, with shoes, during winter months.  

Boys and Girls:

Red summer short sleeve polo shirt (School logo)

Navy sweatshirt (School logo)

Navy blue track pants (School name)…(Optional)

PE shorts (School name)

PE Navy Blue T Shirt (School logo)  

Hats: Two styles available in red or navy……….. (Optional Terms 1 & 4 only)

No logos permitted on hats or caps other than GIS.  

Shoes: Black or Brown sandals (scuffs or thongs not permitted). Sandals not to have platform soles and must be worn without socks.
                                               OR           

Black lace-up or buckle school shoes with dark soles and dark shoe laces. Heels to be no higher than 3cm.      NB:             Sports shoes are not permitted as uniform items.

Second hand uniforms – A range of 2^nd hand uniforms will be available from the school on Thursday 26^th January and Tuesday 31st January 2012.
