School Review
This policy documents how the Greenmeadows Board of Trustees will ensure that it meets its obligations under National Administration Goal 2 to:
i. develop a strategic plan which documents how they are giving effect to the National Education Guidelines through their policies, plans and programmes, including those for curriculum, assessment and staff professional development;
ii. maintain an on-going programme of self-review in relation to the above policies, plans and programmes, including evaluation of information on student achievement;
iii. report to students and their parents on the achievement of individual students and to the school’s community on the achievement of students as a whole and or groups including the achievement of Maori students against the plans and targets referred to in Nag1 (v).
The Board of Trustees will meet these obligations through the development and implementation of the following:
Review, Planning and Reporting Procedures. These ensure that effective review of school curriculum, processes and procedures takes place. Information gained from this process will be used to inform school direction and strategic planning for sustained long-term improvement.
Consultation Procedures to ensure school direction and planning reflects the needs, wants and aspirations of the school community.
