Today we were lucky to have North Cross Intermediate come to Greenmeadows Intermediateto perform for us.  

North Cross had one simple message, "Just because you are alone does not mean you are lonely". Everyone understood the message and knew it was a good message to know and understand.

North Cross presented their performance with confidence and pride.  A lot of poetry was included in the performance as well as  a theme of Shakespeare and DORA THE EXPLORER!

On Wednesday May 9  a group of 90 students from GIS attended the Readers and Writers Festival at the Aotea centre. This event has been held for the last three years and its popularity has increased from a few  schools attending to over 2000 students this year.

The reason for the increase in popularity lies in  the opportunity to listen to celebrated authors from around the globe speak about writing and their books in particular. The parents and teachers their students being addressed by  some very entertaining presentations as well as educative.
